Annual General Meeting

Sat, 22 November, 2025

Kedron Districts Junior Football Club
Date: Saturday, 22 November 2025
Time: 2:00pm
Location: Kedron Lions Clubhouse
All members welcome

The Kedron Lions Juniors will hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, 22 November at 2:00pm at the Clubhouse. All members, families, and supporters are encouraged to attend, whether you’re interested in joining the committee, helping in another capacity, or simply observing how the club runs.

Our club is almost entirely run by volunteers, and this meeting is where we come together to plan for the year ahead. With over 600 players (including Auskick), the day-to-day operation of Kedron Lions depends on the generosity and energy of parents, carers, and community members who step forward to help. From coaching and registrations to uniforms, sponsorship, events, and grants, every role makes a difference.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering at Kedron Lions is a chance to:

  • Give back to your community
  • Help create a positive environment for our young players
  • Build friendships and be part of a great local network
  • Develop new skills and leadership experience
  • Contribute directly to how the club grows and operates

As many parents said in this year’s Club Survey, one of our greatest strengths is our community and volunteer culture — but it’s also one of our biggest challenges. The more people who lend a hand, the easier it is for everyone. Many hands truly do make light work.

Families told us they value a well-organised club, with strong communication, events, sponsorship, and player development. To keep that going, and to keep improving, we need more people involved in areas like grants, sponsorship, events, coaching coordination, communications, and team support. Even small commitments help share the load.
