Yesterday, representatives from Kedron Lions joined other 2025 Toyota AFL Community Football Award winners for a special celebration lunch at Yeronga South Brisbane Football Club.
The event brought together all of this year’s Queensland winners to acknowledge their incredible contributions to community football. Each club and individual award recipient was formally recognised, and it was a great opportunity to celebrate the people and programs that keep our game strong across the state.
Kedron was proudly represented by both our junior and senior clubs, highlighting the strong partnership that exists between the two and the clear football pathway we’ve built — from Auskick, through junior and youth footy, right up to senior football. That connection is something we value deeply, and it’s a big part of what makes our club community so special.
It was a lovely afternoon to reflect on the hard work that went into being named AFL Queensland Community Club of the Year, and to share that moment with other passionate clubs and volunteers. We’re incredibly proud of the recognition and grateful to be part of such a dedicated community.
