Kedron Lions Juniors – AGM Results and Call for New Volunteers

The Kedron Lions Juniors held our Annual General Meeting this week and confirmed the committee for 2026.

Executive Team
President: Glenn Noy
Vice President: Erryn O’Brien
Secretary: Alison Blyth
Treasurer: Penny Musumeci

General Committee
Registrar: Kristyn Herrmann
Uniform Coordinator: Meagan Blake
Umpire and First Aid Coordinator: Lou Birrell
Auskick and Superstars Coordinator: Gavin Parry
General Committee Members: Fin Blyth and Cody Lovell.

We thank every one of these volunteers for stepping up. Our committee is run entirely by parents and community members who give their time around work, family and life. Right now, the team is at capacity.

Positions Still Vacant

Youth Coordinator
Junior Coordinator
Coaching Coordinator for Youth
Social and Events Coordinator
Grants Coordinator
Female Coordinator
Sponsorship Coordinator
Fundraising Coordinator

Without people to fill these roles, we will be limited in what we can deliver in 2026.

What This Means for the Season

  • We will not be running social events unless a Social and Events Coordinator and supporting group come on board
  • When Junior and Youth presentation days roll around, we will need extra volunteers to organise these, as the current committee cannot take on more
  • We planned to provide more support to our Youth coaches next year, but this will not be possible without a Coaching Coordinator
  • Grants may be missed and no fundraising can take place without people in those positions

If you would like to see the club continue to grow, innovate and support our kids, we need more hands!

Important Announcement for 2026

Next season will be the final year that Glenn, Erryn and Ally will serve in the executive roles of President, Vice President and Secretary.

After several years leading the junior space, it is time for renewal. By sharing this early, we hope to find our next group of leaders during 2026 — people who are passionate, committed and ready to learn how the club operates.

Our goal is to mentor incoming volunteers throughout 2026 to ensure a smooth handover so the club continues on its strong path. Having won Club of the Year for the past two seasons and with our relationship with AFLQ at its strongest, this is the ideal time to step in and bring fresh ideas for the future.

How to Get Involved

If you are interested in learning more about any role — large or small — please reach out. Even a few hours across the season makes a difference.

The success of our club has always come from the people in it. With more volunteers, we can keep providing the programs, support and experiences our players and families value.

We look forward to welcoming new faces in 2026.
